HP Drabble Challenge Day 55-60

#55: Ignore
Most people considered Neville too polite. They think he is too nice. Harry is the only one who realizes how not nice he truly is. That’s part of what makes Harry the most important person in Neville’s life. Of course, Harry’s kissing ability and his willingness to protect Neville don’t hurt either.
Neville isn’t stupid he knows that Harry doesn’t plan to stay with him forever. It’s Ginny Harry sees as the love of his life. He’s just a school time friend with benefits to Harry but Neville is willing to ignore Harry’s unfaithfulness as long as they are together.
#56: Watch
Haley Witherspoon doesn’t like her new neighborhood. It is pretentious and stuffy not to mention everyone careds far too much about appearances and far too little about their children. A good representation of that failing was the nasty bully next-door and his “crew”.
His name is Dudley Dursley and his only redeeming feature is his idiocy, which meant that beyond his meaty figure he isn’t much of a threat. At least he isn’t a threat to someone like her who actually knows how to fight. That Potter boy on the other hand seemed to view Dudley as quite the threat.
#57: Scars
Harry doesn’t like to shower with the other boys. That fact alone sets him apart from his dorm-mates. They don’t understand their differences enough to be body shy. They worst anyone could discover from looking at them in the shower was the fact that they’d had an embarrassing accident as a child.
They’d be able to discover a lot more from seeing him shower. The scars that littered his body would tell their tale, letting everyone who saw them know the truth about his home life. He was more than willing to avoid group showers to keep that truth hidden.
#58: Attention
Attention to detail is what sets Percy Weasley apart, both from his brothers and the other workers in his department of the ministry. Few people could muster up enough passion about the thickness of cauldron bottoms to do exemplary work. Percy was one of those few, even if his passion had more to do with making a name for himself than with the thickness of cauldron bottoms.
So far his passion was doing that for him. Though technically he was making someone else’s name for himself. Even so, someday Weatherby would to have a place of import in the ministry.
#59: Jealousy
Pansy Parkinson is the prettiest girl in Slytherin, even if she does have to say so herself. The Slytherin boys might compare her to that Cho girl and the Slytherin girls might call her vain but their just stupid and jealous respectively. Why else would they be unable to see her beauty when it should be as obvious as her title?
She is the princess of Slytherin even if she only has the title because she’s engaged to Draco. That title means that what she says goes. Anyone who disagrees with her is not worthy of her time or attention.
#60: Heaven
I dislike heaven. It’s not that it’s a bad place it’s just that I’m not ready to move on to the other side and Limbo is a desolate place. I’d expected at least Tonks to stay here with me and wait for Teddy but she didn’t. She said that she didn’t feel the need to stay in Limbo just to wait for something she could not change.
While I understand her position I do not agree. Even if I am unable to change Teddy’s fate I am his father. It is my responsibility to look after him, even in death.
