        Being private about your gender identity doesn't mean you're ashamed

    Summary: As you can probably tell I've a soft spot for Shang Qinghua's anxiety riddled and bitchy butt. I can't see a spy in three directions being super open about what's in his pants but also can't see him being ashamed in anyway, he knows every weird twist in this book he's got whatever version of his body feels best and will bite you if you imply otherwise, before running away and having a panic attack.

How he and his partners interact with gender if they really do at all probably depends a lot on who he ends up as. I can't see demons as having the most hardened understanding of what gender or transition even mean. Where as Shen Yuan has very modern feels about the whole thing.

Liu Qingge is absolutely sword gender. If you read horror and are familiar with the Sworn Soldier series by T Kingfisher that's how I see them. Well I became a cultivator. But what's your gender??? I just told you I'm a cultivator. And nobody is able to adequately explain why things should be more complicated than that. They just told you what matters most to them.

Shen Jui is such a mess as a character and everything has to be two times as twisty and complicated than it needs to be. This one I have less of a feel how it interacts with canon since her existence already breaks the timeline in one way or another. Pre-Canon, Post-Canon fixit, Original timeline, Some unknown new timeline. I'd just love to see where you take this.

Plot or character study is cool for any of these situations. I love the absurd world building and just sheer spaghetti thrown at wall possibilities so feel free to go wild with whatever you pick.

    Summary: I love the idea of Jon getting a feel for what is possible through Alanna and how that affects their own gender journey. We see a lot in the later books how much Jon puts aside of his personal opinions in an attempt to be a good king. If set in later canon what does that mean for how they present themselves and their relationship with Thayet? From while they were still a prince, do they get a chance to be themselves around the more understanding 

For Alanna and George, I just love their dynamic. George is just so morally ambiguous to Alanna's not always successful attempts to stick to chivalrous right/wrong. Having Alanna be the one who brings more ambiguity to their relationship in a we aren't really husband/wife in the socially accepted sense is always fun interaction.

Plot or character focus are both great. There are so many different periods during canon when the characters and their genders have a chance of interacting in fun ways.

    Summary: Jiang Yanli deserves to have a all the pretty ladies. I love her as the more knowledgeable partner. Not necessarily dominant, but in a most competent femme woman you'll ever meet, listens and helps you achieve your goals with some light teasing for your nerves and sends you off a full belly feeling like you got hit by a hurricane.

Not super looking for plot specific stuff for this one, unless you are up for fix-it. But missing scene, vignette, character study would all be great.

    Summary

    Baby's first fandom and I loved Milly so much from first blush. I've had various trans Milly head canons over the years. But in general I love how intuitive and self assured she is. She listens to others and tries to follow their lead if they are more familiar with the situation, but you can absolutely tell this is a choice she's making not a well I'm not thinking about things on my own and just going to go along. Because she just has such an unhinged but logical way of doing things if she's not following other people's lead.

I'd love to see some great Milly content in any way you'd like to see that go, and the tech and cultural possibilities in the Trigun world are very broad. Is this a go to the next town change your name and gender and everybody just goes along situation? Or a you can get your physical gender and body parts changed in a above board, or scavenged tech way?

Fine with character study or more plot driven fic as the muses take you.
