Snowflake Challenge: Day Eleven

Day 11

Stretch yourself a little and try something new. Go play in a new fandom or with a new pairing or trope. Try creating a different kind of fanwork. Or check out some types of fanworks that are new to you.


So I wasn't really sure what to make for this. I ended up deciding to do a drabble for the Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters fandom, because it is an awesome cheesy film worthy of being a B movie.

And so it begins

Harsh falls the winters snow upon the darkened hearth. Through the broken fire stained roof, the home grows ever colder. No children to rest their weary heads upon their beds. Mother is dead, set ablaze in the yard. Father hangs in a tree. The villagers whisper poisonous tales about how they ate their children.

But the children were spirited away into the deep, dark wood. There they find their destiny, in a little hut spun from sugar and magic. A witch lies dead, burned alive in her oven. Thus begins the tale of the witch hunting siblings, Hansel and Gretel.
