Breath in, breath out, breath in, breath out, the mantra keeps running through his head. The final battle has come and he will soon join the Aurors and Order Members in their efforts to eradicate the enemy. He doesn’t do this for faith in the light, for love, or for any other justifiable reason. He isn’t one of the “good guys”, his reason for fighting isn’t righteous.

He fights to destroy his parents' destroyer. It won’t prove anything, it won’t bring his parents back, or make his grandmother and uncle care for him, but he’s going to do it anyway.
